Kirtan is a traditional yoga practise that incorporates and blends mantra, sound meditation and group chanting and nada yoga, the yoga of sound. Kirtan is also a practise of Bhakti Yoga the yogic path of unconditional love…It can help us open the heart, bring peace to the mind and calm to the body. Sound and vibration connect to help us drop deeper into relaxation, mindfulness and balance….Join us with our resident Kirtan group Lakshmi Sounds of Jacqui and Maitha on vocals & harmonium, Nathan Spargo (guitar) and Mark Cocquio (drums).
No experience necessary and all welcome. Bookings essential. $20 includes tea and sweets.
