JAI MA! Lakshmi and Durga energies combine in this 30-Hour Yoga Intensive for Teachers or dedicated practitioners. Spend 5 days diving deep into the practice of Tantra and Bhakti as we explore the philosophies and ancient texts that make yoga what it is today.
Each morning we will come together in devotion, chanting, learning basic harmonium skills, story-telling and together creating a theme for our day. Each afternoon will be spent exploring sequencing to Maha (BIG) poses, threading our theme into the physical flow of our class and practice teaching.
Our Curriculum will include:
The Study of Tantra and Bhakti, their roots and bringing them to life today
Creative sequencing towards Maha poses
Bringing Lila (play) to your teaching style and class planning
The art of meaningful adjustments
Incorporating mantra, mudra and storytelling into our classes
Creating meaningful class themes that thread and weave through an entire practice
