Jess first came to yoga in her early twenties as a way to regain physical fitness. It soon became much more as she realised the power of yoga to transform not only your body, but your mind states and emotions. Since then she has been a dedicated student at Brisbane Yoga Space and in 2012 completed her Level I teacher training in power yoga and mindfulness-based practice. Jess has also recently had her first child, gaining first-hand experience in the benefits of a yoga practice, both on and off the mat. Jess loves to teach a vinyasa style class that flows to a theme and encourages mindful, conscious movement.
